Professor Baris Ata is a renowned doctor and researcher in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He has a lot of experience in assisted reproductive technologies, ovarian stimulation, endometriosis, fertility preservation, and evidence-based IVF practice, among other areas. He currently serves as a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is widely recognized for his contributions to advancing clinical standards and research excellence in reproductive medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professor Ata completed his medical degree at Istanbul University, Istanbul School of Medicine. He subsequently undertook specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He later completed advanced fellowship training at McGill University, Canada. This specialized training included infertility and gynecological reproductive endocrinology in the division of infertility and reproductive endocrinology. To further strengthen his academic and research expertise, he pursued postgraduate training in clinical trials methodology. He completed this training at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London. Through this experience, he developed strong expertise in clinical research methodology, clinical trial design, and evidence-based practice, as well as other core competencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An accomplished researcher, Professor Baris Ata has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific publications. His research has appeared in several high-impact international scientific journals. These include Human Reproduction<\/em>, Fertility and Sterility<\/em>, Human Reproduction Update<\/em>, Reproductive BioMedicine Online<\/em>, and Current Opinion in Obstetrics and Gynecology<\/em>. Moreover, his research has significantly influenced contemporary understanding of ovarian reserve, endometriosis-related infertility, freeze-all strategies, pituitary suppression protocols, and reproductive outcomes in ART, including the COVID-19 pandemic<\/a>, and other related areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professor Ata is also a prominent leader in international professional organizations. Additionally, he has been a member of the Committee of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology. Currently, he coordinates the ESHRE<\/a> Committee for Accreditation. This means that he plays a major role in the process of accrediting fertility centers in Europe and beyond. In addition, he is the President of the Turkish Society of Reproductive Medicine, having previously held several senior executive positions within the society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
