Dr. Maher Maaita is a leading consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a recognized subspecialist in Fetomaternal Medicine with more than 30 years of clinical, academic, and administrative experience. He has significantly contributed to the development of maternal–fetal care in Jordan, taking leadership at King Hussein Medical Centre as the Head of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Fetal Medicine Unit.
Throughout his career, Dr. Maaita has been actively involved in medical education, serving as an Associate Clinical Professor at Jordan University and leading multiple national scientific committees. His expertise spans high-risk pregnancy, advanced obstetric ultrasound, fetal diagnostics, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. He is widely respected for his commitment to improving standards of clinical practice and training across the region.
He is also a regular keynote speaker at regional and international conferences. Dr. Maher Maaita continues to make contributions to improving women’s health through his work in the field.
