Dr. Nino Tseruashvili

Head of Coloproctology Department, MediClubGeorgia

Dr. Nino Tseruashvili is a distinguished colorectal surgeon with more than 15 years of experience in the field of coloproctology. Since joining the MediClubGeorgia team in 2009, she has played a central role in expanding and leading the hospital’s coloproctology services. Her clinical expertise, combined with her leadership capabilities, has been instrumental in the development and growth of advanced surgical services within the region.

Moreover, Dr. Tseruashvili has held several key clinical and administrative positions throughout her career. From 2012 to 2015, she served as the Head of the Surgical Department at MediClubGeorgia. Since then, she has continued to work as a practicing colorectal surgeon at the same institution. Earlier in her career, between 2006 and 2009, she was a surgical resident at the R. Iashvili Proctology Center of the 4th Clinical Hospital in Tbilisi. She also held a role as a senior medical researcher in the Department of Proctology at the Institute for Postgraduate and Continuous Professional Education.

Dr. Nino Tseruashvili is also active in medical academia. She is an invited lecturer at the Department of Surgery at Tbilisi State Medical University and has authored 13 scientific papers, all of which have been published in peer-reviewed journals. Moreover, her professional affiliations include memberships in several respected national and international medical associations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Georgian Surgical Association, the National Association of Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists of Georgia, and the Georgian Endoscopists Association. Since 2020, she has been a full board member of the Georgian Endoscopy Board.

  • Graduated from Tbilisi Medical Institute, Faculty of Medicine
  • Completed residency training in Proctology and Endoscopy at the Institute of Postgraduate and Continuous Professional Development, Tbilisi
  • Currently a doctoral candidate at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University
  • Participated in international clinical fellowships and training programs, including:
    1. Weill Cornell Medical University, Presbyterian Center, Colon and Rectal Surgery Department, New York (2015)
